Vineyard and castle

Here's a duo that is not lacking in charm! The vineyards run along the foothills of the Vosges, themselves dominated by numerous medieval ruins. We invite you to discover a pearl among its vestiges of our history and the vineyards surrounding it.

The castle of Ortenbourg is perched on a rocky outcrop like a stone sentinel. It is the crossroads of two ancient trade routes to the ancient walled city of Selestat, Alsace. The ruin has most of the classical features of military architecture from the Middle Ages. These will be explained by your guide.

On the way back, we travel to the vineyards. The Alsatian vineyard is quite distinguished from other vineyards in France. Here where wine mixing is done each variety of wine is vinified one by one.

Your guide will describe all of these steps during your tour. A hot or cold drink (depending on season) will be offered during the tour. As a token of welcome, a bottle of crémant and a box of chocolates will be offered.

Our service is characterized by the guide ensuring that participants are accompanied to their hotel. The tour ends upon return to the hotel.
